Centre for Comparative Politics and Political Theory, SIS, JNU in association with the University of Westminster, London presented a Discussion on 'Nationalism and its Politics of Othering'. Dibyesh Anand, Head of the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster, London spoke on "Nationalism-Democracy Disconnect", Ipshita Basu, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster,London spoke on "Technocratic Nationalism and the Unimagined Other: Interrogating Elite Interventions in Urban India". Commentators were Nivedita Menon and Pradip Kumar Datta. The Discussion followed a great Interactive Session among the students and teachers.
