🎶 Back to the Roots: A Unity Concert Celebrating Black History Month 🎶
Join the Evansville African American Museum for an unforgettable evening of music, culture, and community as we celebrate Black History Month with “Back to the Roots” — a powerful unity concert honoring the legacy, resilience, and rich heritage of African American history.
Featuring the dynamic Black History Month Unity Choir, under the direction of Dr. Kandace Hinton, along with a special performance by the Community Children’s Choir, this inspiring event brings together voices from across our community in a moving celebration of faith, freedom, and fellowship.
The evening will also feature distinguished guest artists and directors including Dr. Arlicia Biggers-Dotson, Byron Lander, Director Sissy Simmons, Minister of Music Khylen VanHooks, and Minister of Music Shawn Humphries.
