Railfanning Palmdale - 12/14/18

Описание: In continuation of my quick railfanning trip along the Metrolink Antelope Valley Line, I headed over to the Palmdale Metrolink Station after railfanning at Lancaster earlier in the morning. The Palmdale Station serves as an intermediate stop for Metrolink's AV Line, although the station doesn't particularly have anything too special, mainly due to the design of the station heavily based on suburban development and sprawl of the surrounding area. The station itself does however feature a replicated clock tower in addition to ample waiting areas and passenger amenities both inside the station building and outside on the platform. This station additionally also receives daily Amtrak Thruway bus connections. It is worth noting however that the station's public address (PA) system happened to be more audibly prominent than other stations, coinciding particularly with the upcoming holiday schedule notices. Likewise, due in part to the lack of trackside vantage points as well as the number of scheduled trains, the result is a rather short video to date in a while, but nonetheless, I was still able to see some good train activity while I was here.
