This is a massive supercut of most modern action sci-fi that involves Earth being attacked by an alien force. Seeing how games have become extremely cinematic, I decided to include them as well.

Even though this has it's own story arch and almost seamless narrative you can still have fun watching it, but it is the fact that they all flow together so well despite being a mix of over a dozen different properties that challenges the genre. There are so many matching actions, plot points, shot types, and music ques that it should take multiple viewings to understand them all.
