President Droupadi Murmu Visits Similipal Sanctuary | Meets Tribal Women & Youth

Описание: President of India Droupadi Murmu visited the Similipal Wildlife Sanctuary today. During her visit, the President interacted with tribal women and youth groups living in the Similipal region and held discussions on their issues and welfare. She also distributed blankets to needy and vulnerable people.

After completing the programme at Similipal, the President will travel by road to a temporary helipad and then return to Bhubaneswar by Indian Air Force helicopter.

Earlier, President Murmu attended several programmes in Rairangpur and stayed overnight at the Forest Bungalow in Gurugudia. She also visited her in-laws’ village Pahadpur, where locals welcomed her with traditional tribal dance and cultural performances.
