Should primary school children be allowed to choose their own pronouns? | Good Morning Britain

Pupils will be able to change their gender and use different pronouns under new guidance issued by the government. It means that from September children in primary school will be allowed to choose how they identify, if it's considered to be in their “best interests” - and provided their parents have been consulted.
But those same children will also be barred from using toilets, changing rooms and other facilities that don't match their biological sex.
The government says the new guidance will give teachers "the clarity they need."  But critics claim it “weakens the role of parents".
