It's moist, tender and oh so delicious
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cups unsweetened baking cocoa
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 sticks butter room temperature
3 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs room temperature
2 cups water
In a bowl place flour,cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt and stir.
Beat butter and sugar till creamy, add vanilla till its combined and smooth.
Beat in eggs one at a time to creamed mixture. Add dry ingredients slowly and alternate with water till all dry ingredients and water has become a silky batter.
Grease and Dust with flour a 12x18 half sheet pan pour batter into pan. Tap bottom of pan for air bubbles
Bake at 325 for 45-50 minutes depending
Place hot Cake pan on cooling rack.
