In this video I will show you how to turn off comments on videos on YouTube App.
There are many spammers in YouTube and if you want to protect your videos from being spammed by someone, you can simply turn off comments on your YouTube videos.
You can turn off comments on all of your future videos but this option is available only if you are using desktop or laptop computer. However, you can still turn comments off on specific videos using your mobile device. Just follow these steps:
1. Open up YouTube app and login to your profile if you haven’t already;
2. Click on your profile picture at the top right corner of your screen and select “YouTube Studio”;
3. Click on the menu icon at the top left corner of your screen and from the drop-down menu select “Videos”;
4. Find the video on which you would like comments to be turned off and click on it;
5. Click on “Pencil” icon at the top to edit your video;
6. Go to “Advanced settings”;
7. Scroll down and switch the toggle off next to “Allow comments”;
8. Click on “Save”. Done, comments have been turned off for this specific YouTube video!
