Описание: Something interesting happens at slow speeds where to be able to fly at slower airspeed you need to increase your power considerably. This phenomenon is called Power Reversal and it happens at the backside of the L/D curve where the induced drag increases exponentially due to an increase in the angle of attack associated with slow flight (at constant height).

The video demonstrates that at 60Kts, even at full power the speed of the aircraft is not increasing. Because all of that power is utilized in counteracting the exponentially increased induced drag associated with a high angle of attack. The only way to increase the speed would be to reduce your angle of attack or pitch attitude to get rid of your excessive induced drag so that a higher airspeed could be achieved.
