Los Angeles-based Matte Brand designer Briana Shaneè Wilson sat with us just before her New York Fashion Week presentation and discussed her upbringing in Little Rock, Arkansas, her move to Texas as a young girl and her decision to move to New York where she launched Matte eight months after her arrival.
Now based in Los Angeles, Brianna provided some details on the size of her company and how she views her role as the company's CEO.
We interviewed Briana in the New York hotel she was staying in for the week and about halfway through, Los Angeles designer Adriana Sahar popped by and said hello so keep an eye out for that!
