Описание: This was a special performance at Detroit's Scarab Club on September 14, 2001, right on the heels of our gig in Seattle, WA at the Bumbershoot festival and days after 9/11. Longtime ML Liebler friend and collaborator, Detroit saxophonist Faruq Z Bey (Griot Galaxy), joined us on this version of ML Liebler's poem, "Brooding the Heartland." The poem appears on our CD Paper Ghost Rain Dance, and was created as a whole piece with music in the mountains outside of Woodstock, NY at NY poet Barry Wallenstein's cabin. Personnel: ML Liebler (poetry), Faruq Z Bey (saxophone), Jim Carey (drums), Brigitte Knudson (bass), and Randy Tessier (guitar).
