Anne Pavy-Le Traon, MD, PhD (France)
Professor Pavy-Le Traon is Associate Professor of Neurology at the Medicine Faculty of University of Toulouse. She has been working as a Medical Practitioner in the Neurology Department at the University Hospital of Toulouse since September 2010. She is also Head of the Autonomic Laboratory which she implemented in the Neurology Department, and manages the Toulouse reference center for Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). Her particular field of expertise and research is the autonomic nervous system. Besides her position in the hospital, she directs the teaching of the Aerospace Medicine Diploma and works as a Scientific Advisor in the Institute of Space Physiology and Medicine (MEDES) in Toulouse. She was nominated as a member of the ESA Medical Board in May 2018. She is a member of the European Federation of Autonomic Societies (EFAS as treasurer) as well as the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) and the MODIMSA group.
