This video is the demo of our reinforcement learning based motion planning framework, done on June 5, 2022, that allows autonomous navigation in unknown and unseen environments.
In this demo that vehicle can be seen reaching the designated destination, from various starting positions, with random traffic in front of the vehicle.
This demo shows both autonomous driving capabilities in general, and in campuses, and also our cutting-edge research being done in the areas of reinforcement learning for autonomous driving.
The motion planning framework is the advancement of the algorithmic research being done by the founder, Sanjeev Sharma, over the past few years, where the earlier versions of the frameworks were published in 2012 in robotics conferences.
