This video takes you on a quiet walk through Zhega Village, located in Yuanjiang County, Yunnan Province, China.
As you walk through the village, you will see old earthen houses, elderly villagers wearing traditional ethnic clothing, and many ancient trees that are over a hundred years old.
Zhega Village was founded during the Yuan Dynasty (1335–1340).
Today, the village still preserves 118 traditional Dai earthen houses, known as Tuzhang houses, reflecting the local way of life and history.
This is a no-talking walking video, recorded in real time, allowing you to experience the village at a slow and natural pace.
