Birding Trip to Salinas de San Pedro, Spain – November 2025
During my birding trip to Salinas de San Pedro in November 2025, I had the pleasure of photographing and filming the same Black-tailed Godwit feeding in the same spot on two separate visits. On my second visit, late in the afternoon, the setting sun cast a beautiful golden glow over the scene, adding warmth and depth to my photos.
For added interest and comparison, I also included several images and flight shots of the Godwit and one photo in breeding plumage, captured on previous birding trips. The contrast between the bird’s winter and breeding plumage highlights the remarkable seasonal transformation of this elegant wader.
