Making Tealight Holders/Candle Jars with pressed Flowers - Upcycling Idea for Glass Jars

this week I have a simple upcycling idea for glass jars for you.
How about making pretty spring lanterns with pressed flowers?
These tealight holders turned out so lovely and except for the decoupage glue they are completely sustainably made with homemade glue and upcycled glass jars.
A great decoration idea to preserve a little bit of spring and summer for the dark winter months.

Making tea light holders:

Materials:
-pressed flowers
-empty jars
-sugar
-wheat flour
-water
-decoupage glue
-brush

Step 1: Glue
1 tablespoon of sugar
2 tablespoons of wheat flour (type 405)
water
mix everything together till smooth and then cook on low heat till thick (takes 1-2 minutes)
fill it in a jar and let the glue cool down completely before closing the lid
store it in the fridge for up to a week

Step 2: Jars
brush the glue onto the jars with multiple coats
apply the pressed flowers with multiple coats of glue
-seal everything with multiple coats of decoupage glue/varnish
