‘Start active preparations’: PM Modi tells NDA MPs to gear up for 2024 Lok Sabha polls

Описание: In a bid to solidify NDA’s hold amongst the public ahead of 2024 polls, PM Modi chaired cluster-3,4 meetings on August 02. The cluster-4 meeting was held at the Parliament Annexe building with NDA MPs, where he advised them to start active preparation. The meeting which lasted for an hour, focused on strengthening the hold of BJP-led NDA govt in non-BJP states. In the meeting, PM advised MPs to connect with people and convey about welfare schemes of Central Govt to public, sources told ANI.
PM also asked MPs to make the public aware of the central govt’s schemes by surpassing state machinery in non-BJP states. The meeting was held with 48 MPs from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Island, and Lakshadweep. Prahlad Joshi and V Muralidharan Pandey hosted the cluster-4 meeting, meanwhile, BJP chief JP Nadda and senior BJP leaders were present in the meeting. Earlier in the day, PM also held the cluster-3 meeting at Maharashtra Bhawan, which included leaders like Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Anupriya Patel, and Mahendra Nath Pandey.
