Here is a special that was put together by Merlan Productions; which stands for Merrill and Alan. Merrill Osmond, Alan Osmond and Paul Karl Engemann were executive producers of this show. At the time of this show Karl was the brothers’ manager. (In fact as you watch you will see a cameo of Karl.) Turner Broadcasting Systems broadcasted this over their station as well as joint ventured in the project. Shot live at Billy Bob’s in Texas with mostly Osmond Studio crew members. Yes we flew down lighting team, sound team, camera operators and others. Then the video tapes were flown back to the studio where they were edited and sweeten for broadcasting. Phill Catherall, Michael Wuergler and I took the show over to Cannes, France to the Television Market shows for worldwide distribution. This was a fun time with some big names in the Country Music industry. Mel Tillis was a lot of fun work with, we also produced his show at the studio called Mel and Susan Together, with co-star Susan Anton. This is very old tape and the quality is very poor. However, I think you will enjoy the clips I pulled and put together for you.
