Cornerstone Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school opening in the Upper Valley in Fall 2026, beginning with grades K–3 and growing to K–8.
We were founded on a simple but urgent belief: every child deserves a strong foundation in literacy.
Across our region — and our country — too many students are not reading proficiently by third grade. At Cornerstone, we are building a school from the ground up where structured literacy isn’t an add-on — it’s the foundation. Our classrooms are grounded in the Science of Reading and the Orton-Gillingham approach, delivered by highly trained teachers in a knowledge-rich, content-building environment.
We are not retrofitting an old model. We are building something new — intentionally designed to ensure students become confident readers, critical thinkers, and future leaders.
