📼 December 9th, 2016 | In Part 4, Matt Hewett struggles to overcome a disappointing morning, and the team works hard to maintain its lead in Climbing Worm. James Hobart, the most seasoned team competitor among the six, leads the communication on the field during the Event 5.
After the event, Froning has to run a gauntlet of adoring fans while exiting the stadium. After Froning graciously poses for multiple selfies with fans, Hewett explains why the sport fosters humility despite the fame it offers.
“That’s the good thing about CrossFit,” Hewett says. “You get beat almost every workout by someone. There’s not many cocky people in the sport, and there’s a reason why.”
