Partagas is a well known and successful old cigar brand of Cuban origin, having been first started in 1845, almost 180 years ago.

To nobody's surprise, the brand is split into two parts today; one Cuban, and one Dominican, as the original side of the brand was seized in 1960 by the Cuba’s Government. However, the previous owner of the brand emigrated to the United States, and restarted the brand in 1978..

Today, the nameplate’s products sold on the American market are produced in the Dominican Republic, and it seems that the brand has a high reputation, no matter where they come from.

During this video I smoked and reviewed the Partagas Black Label Magnifico, which cost me roughly $14, had a size of 6×54, was made in the DR, and contained a Connecticut Medio Tiempo Wrapper, a Dominican Binder, along with a D / Nicaraguan Filler.
