Rock n' roll dancing is swing dancing danced to rock n' roll music. 'Rock Around the Clock' by Bill Haley & The Comets ushered in the age of rock music and Elvis’ Presley’s version of 'Hound Dog' was his best-selling song. Both tunes were anthems for rebellious 1950s youth.
