Syria's rebel leader vowed not to pardon officials involved in torture, as families sought missing detainees after mass releases
“We will not pardon those involved in torturing detainees,” Islamist Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group leader Abu Mohammed al-Jolani said
Al-Jolani also urged "countries to hand over any of those criminals who may have fled so they can be brought to justice." Meanwhile, the tomb of ousted Syrian president Bashar al-Assad's father Hafez was torched in his hometown of Qardaha.
