Amtrak's Empire Builder and St Pauls' Historic Union Depot - what a day.

Описание: I had to travel down to Milwaukee from St. Paul, so what better way than to use a form of transpiration that most forget even exist. And I got there in the same amount of travel time and cost as driving!

The Empire Builder from Amtrak is one of the most iconic train routes in America's history. Now, I was only taking a six-hour chunk of the over 38-hour train ride From Chicago to Seattle. Definitely a unique form of transportation, but it gives you time to relax and it's actually a lot quicker than most people think. Even if you're only going a little ways it's definitely something to consider. This is inspired me to go on the full train ride all the way to Seattle.

The Union Depot in Saint Paul was renovated not too many years ago. After sitting vacant for many years in 2012 the widely renowned group of building opened to the public once again after going through a major refurbishment. The complex is massive, and I feel it's underutilized. For being downtown there are definitely areas that are peaceful and quiet, With the solid Internet connection almost anywhere on the campus, you can enjoy your time and get work done.
