If you’re watching this, you’re probably trying to decide which attorney is the right fit for you or a loved one. I can’t make that decision for you, but I can tell you who I am and how I approach my work. I’ve devoted my entire career to criminal law, starting back in 2007, and it’s the only area of law I practice. I’m a certified criminal law specialist through the State Bar Association, a distinction held by fewer than 3 percent of attorneys in the state. I also spent the first 15 years of my career as a prosecutor, which means I understand exactly how prosecutors think, what they look for, and how to position a case for the best possible outcome. In addition, I have developed and taught accredited law enforcement training courses, so I know how police are supposed to do their jobs and when they fall short. Most importantly, I believe clients deserve an attorney who listens, explains the process clearly, and treats them like a person, not just a case file. At the end of the day, my job is to solve problems for people during some of the most stressful moments of their lives.
