1954 vendo v 83 electric coke machine. Cleaned up, working--except coin mechanism

This is a "restored" 1954 Vendo V-83 electric Coke a Cola machine. Holds 83 eight ounce bottles. It was in a garage for about 45 years and was full of thick dust and grime. It took a lot of work just to clean it up. A new refrigerator compressor fan was installed. The original evaporator fan was working, so it was not replaced--but there is some slight noise coming from the evaporator fan (it is easy and inexpensive to put in a new fan). The refrigeration system works excellent. It now has a new thermostat. The original rubber door seal was still good and was not replaced. Although the coin mechanism powers up, it makes a loud noise and does not accept coins. Not sure what the problem is with the coin mechanism and I have not been able to find someone who can repair it or exchange it for a working coin mechanism.
