Описание: Our absolute favourite dim sum dish throughout the whole world exists in Singapore. You really can't just have one.

Chee Cheong Fun (CCF) or rice noodle rolls are a dim sum dish made of rice and tapioca flour and steamed to perfection with various fillings like shrimp, char siew (barbecue pork), ground beef, scallop, or vegetables. Once cooked, a beautiful slightly sweet and savoury sauce is poured all over it, allowing the noodle to soak it all up. The light silky texture and the juicy shrimp in Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun has not disappointed us even after many a try.

Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun in Pek Kio Market & Food Centre has been a staple in this neighbourhood. It's still making waves even after the first of its many stores opened 5 years ago (there will soon be 14 outlets throughout Singapore!!). We also can't forget about it's Michelin Bib! We stumbled onto it when we lived in the area and will continue to make the trek just to eat more.

The Pek Kio Market & Food Centre is certainly not at the top of most Singapore tourists' list of things to do and eat, but in our opinion, it should be. Especially if you're a foodie and want to see what it's like to be immersed in the community.
