Two Girls Swept Away in Suran River in Poonch, Rescued by Locals and Police | News18 Urdu

Описание: In a dramatic incident in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, two girls were swept away by the strong currents of the Suran River in the Behramgalla area of Surankote tehsil on Sunday.

Locals and police personnel immediately launched a rescue operation and successfully brought both girls to safety. One of the girls was found unconscious and was rushed to the Sub-District Hospital in Surankote by the police and local residents.

The girls have been identified as Ifra Kausar, daughter of Tariq Ahmed, and Samina Akhtar, daughter of Lal Hussain, both residents of Chandimadha village. Following medical treatment, the condition of both girls is reported to be stable.

The incident highlights the prompt response of locals and police, whose timely action helped avert a tragedy.
