Automating Mograph: Using Basic Expressions to Design Animated Name Straps in After Effects

"In the first session we build an animated name strap using Red Giant Universe tools such as HUD, KLF, Text Screen and Array Gun. We introduce basic expressions that allow easier control of the elements such as areas that dynamically changes size based on the text. Numerous team logos can be selected by drop down menu, and all of the elements can be coloured to compliment the team in question. This is then built up in Essential Graphics for the creation of a MOGRT which we install in Premiere Pro. An editor can then quickly access a range of complex custom graphics with no After Effects experience at all."
