Shrek (Mike Myers) and Donkey (Eddie Murphy) arrive at Lord Farquaad’s (John Lithgow) tournament where numerous fighters battle for the champion title. Repulsed by Shrek’s apparence, Farquaad instaures a new rule: the first one to kill Shrek wins the title. Shrek and Donkey now have no choice but to fight all participants. An obligation that they fulfill with pleasure!

What’s the Shrek movie about?
An ugly and misanthropic ogre, Shrek (Mike Myers), lives quietly and happily in the dirt in the middle of a swamp. One day, his living space is invaded by a swarm of horrifying fairy-tale creatures, 7 dwarfs, 3 bears, a puppet, 3 fairies, and lots of witches, prince charming, princesses, as well as a talkative and clingy donkey (Eddie Murphy). The intruders have arrived because they have been, they say, expelled by the tyrannical Lord Farquaad. Shrek, flanked by the donkey, decides to go and ask this lord for an explanation. A forceful explanation does not make a winner or a loser. So the lord asks Shrek - in exchange for the return of the cumbersome squatters - to go and rescue Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) with whom he wishes to marry in order to accede to the throne. She is trapped in a tower guarded by a dragon and although the dragon has already killed hundreds of brave knights, Shrek overcomes it, with the sometimes accidental but precious help of the Donkey. But, for the ogre, the return looks difficult because the princess is, as it should be, incurably well-bred, refined and romantic... However, along the way, she begins to find, despite her burps and farts, some attractions to the ill-bred ogre...
