Hanagasa Ondo is a lovely dance piece. The title means "Flower Hat Dance" and the colorful hats you can see in the background are the kind of hats that are used for the dance. The choreography is a bit more complex than other Obon songs (such as Tokyo Ondo, Tanko Bushi) but great fun with the flower hats. There are little bells attached to the backside of those flower hats that jingle along when dancing❤️

The song originates in the Yamagata prefecture, but it's popular across Japan.
