Our New Zealand trip continues down the West Coast as we finally reach Franz Josef! We've checked into some luxury accommodation (and the most well known accommodation in the area apparently) called Rainforest Retreat, staying in a tree hut. Fortunately the weather had a gap and we also had the chance to check out a few Franz Josef Glacier walk options as well.

We searched online a lot to try and find the best advice for Franz Josef and the different hikes and walks in the area... there were so many different opinions it was almost easier to just wing it ourselves.
