Dear friends of DIY loudspeaker-systems!
It's done! =) 8x Faital Pro 4Fe32 neodynmium drivers in line-source cabinets. Total impedance is 8 Ohm at 240 Watts total power per unit. Each cabinet just weighs 6,5kg which is very light-weight compared to tops with same output/SPL.
Subs are MTH30 VX 212.
Crossover Settings are:
Sub 38Hz/BW18 - 100Hz/BW18
Tops 170Hz/BW18 - 22kHz/BW6
System runs relatively flat with nice touch from the subs (subs are set 7dB louder at the amplyfier)
Sound is very clean and detailed as you can hear in the video.
With this line sources you hear dynamics and notes you never noticed before, absolutely amazing! =)
