"HATE RING LIGHT GLARE?" 5 Pencils + 3 Finishes Tested on Vinyl – What Works Best?

Описание: I love to dot on vinyl records that aren't base painted—something about those natural grooves! But the glare from my ring light makes it nearly impossible to record a tutorial. So this weekend, I ran a little experiment!
💡 All dotting was done using DIY dotting tools and DecoArt Americana acrylics on a recycled vinyl record donated by B-Side Record Shop in Trail, BC.

In this video, I tested 5 different pencils on vinyl records coated with three glare-reducing surfaces:

Liquitex Matte Varnish
Mont Marte Clear Texture Gesso
Liquitex Pouring Medium

Here's what I checked for:
✔️ How well the surface reduced glare for filming
✔️ How visible the guidelines were under a ring light
✔️ How easy it was to erase marks (tested 4 ways!)
✔️ Whether the guideline affected dot shape using acrylic paint

Standard HB Lead Pencil

Wet Wipe
Q-Tip with water
