Описание: In this episode of The Life of Phys Podcast, Tyson Martin sits down with Los Angeles–based photographer and former cinematographer Dennys Ilic, a world-class portrait artist whose work bridges Hollywood, cinema, and deeply human storytelling.

With a background in cinematography — including shooting the multi-award-winning film Face to Face and lensing the first digital feature film in India. Dennys has spent the last 18+ years building an extraordinary career photographing actors, filmmakers, musicians, and cultural icons.

Dennys is best known for his edgy, soulful portraits of some of the most recognizable faces in the world, including Daniel Radcliffe, Jason Momoa, Halle Berry, Viola Davis, Keanu Reeves, Ryan Reynolds, Glenn Close, Cindy Crawford, Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy, Rosario Dawson, Lawrence Fishburne, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Hart, and many more.

For five years, Dennys photographed Daniel Radcliffe for Warner Bros, creating covers and editorial imagery used across hundreds of international publications tied to the Harry Potter franchise and beyond.

His work has been commissioned by Warner Bros, Netflix, CBS, HBO, People Magazine, Vogue Italia, GOOP, HGTV, McLaren Automotive, and artists including Seal, Alanis Morrissette, AJ McLean, Lance Bass, and Shinedown.

Beyond commercial success, Dennys is a published fine art photographer with five hardcover photography books and a Star Trek Discovery coffee-table book currently in development. In 2017, he was invited to exhibit at Leica Gallery Los Angeles, where his exhibition still holds the attendance record as of 2024. His iconic image Entwined was also selected for Leica’s 2023 International Photographic Auction in Vienna.

On January 15, Dennys returns to Leica Gallery LA with the opening reception for his new exhibition, “Hollywood in Black & White,” showing alongside “A Guy Walks Into a Bar” by Billy Zane.
