🫓 Missi Roti – A Wholesome North Indian Delight! 🌿
Nothing beats the earthy aroma of freshly made Missi Roti — a beautiful blend of besan (gram flour) and whole wheat, spiced with herbs, chilies, and a touch of tradition! Perfect with curd, pickle, or a dollop of white butter 🤍
Ingredients you’ll need:
½ cup Onion (chopped)
1 tbsp Green Chili (chopped)
1 tbsp Coriander Stems (chopped)
1 tbsp Spring Onion Greens (chopped)
½ tbsp Ginger (chopped)
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds + 1tsp Cumin (Crushed)
1 tbsp Kasoori Methi
1 tbsp black sesame seeds
1 tsp chili flakes
½ tbsp Salt (or to taste)
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Roasted Jeera Powder
1 cup Besan (gram flour)
1 cup Wheat flour
1 tbsp Oil
Water as required (for kneading)
Butter (for serving) 🧈
