I finally got around to shooting video bending 24G steel as per the maximum suggested rating of our Innovatools modular HD bending brake. As always i wanted to push the limits and also took the opportunity to try out 22G steel! This was hard and impractical but the brake held up just fine and i have no concern for the brake on this thicker material but I would recommend having it bolted down firmly and having 2 operators operating it to make it less hard on the operator.
That being said, the 24G steel, although requiring a little elbow grease is very manageable! We will be keeping the rating of our HD model at 24G steel from a practicality stand point but you now see what the Innovatools Brake can achieve ;)
