Chering Dorjey Lakruk, Co-Chairman of the Apex Body Leh, during a press conference congratulated the people of Ladakh on the release of Sonam Wangchuk.
Speaking about the March 16 protest, Lakruk said that the administration had requested them to avoid holding the rally. However, he stated that after a unanimous decision by the Apex Body and the Kargil Democratic Alliance, the protest rally will not be cancelled and will go ahead as planned.
He emphasised that the rally will remain peaceful and appealed to the people to participate in large numbers
