Holy smokes, this "Foolish Heart - Scarlet Begonias" jam from Pier Six in Baltimore (8/16/23) simply has to be seen to be believed. Which is why I wanted to share it with all of you. It honestly just doesn't get better than this -- the band is all smiles and the seamless segue is the stuff you just can't rehearse or plan. It's like catching a wave and beating it on down the line.
A chef's kiss to our guests Daniel Donato and Kanika Moore for joining in the fun that night and really helping to make it special. I'm really proud of all the Kids for such stellar performances -- so much so, in fact, that I wanted to release the two recent "Dead on the Water" shows in their entirety. Professionally mixed, hi-definition audio from both shows are now available to stream or download at nugs.net/billyandthekids.
As we went pier to pier, Sierra Hull joined up with us at Pier 17 in New York (8/18/23). I want to share an official video clip from that show as well, but there were just so many highlights that night -- help me decide which song to post next!
And seriously - I dare you to not get chills with this one.
