From Crisis to Compassion: Understanding Refugee Management

Описание: Pakistan consistently ranks among the top three host countries for Afghan refugees, reflecting its enduring role throughout the four-decade struggle for peace in Afghanistan. The country has demonstrated institutional capacity to address this challenge over the past four decades. It is imperative for both Pakistan and the international community to closely examine and learn from institutional case studies that have emerged because of hosting Afghan refugees. Understanding and learning from these case studies can provide valuable insights for effective governance in similar contexts.

In this Tabadlab Policy Roundtable, we aim to take a holistic approach to the topics and talking points, aiming to consolidate the expertise of various refugee experts into a single, comprehensive discussion. The focus will extend beyond the Afghan refugee situation to include experiences from around the world. We hope to explore what different countries have learned from these experiences and identify potential pathways forward.
