In the beginning you see me jumping straight over to the bubble wall, but in the game there are normally 2 enemies that prevent you from doing this. Those 2 would be a waver (another little red dude flying around lower than the one seen) and one of those cactus-type guys that puff up and shoot a few spikes out in various directions. Just kill that first waver and jump over and use a mid-air diagonal shot (performed by holding R and shooting and holding the jump button to aim and continue with your momentum) to kill cactus man. From there, just do as the video does.

Without the Speed Booster you won't be able to (1) fall to the ground in the room with the spikes on the floor and jump back up, or (2) jump across said spikes without getting hit at least once (both to and from). If you don't have the Speed Booster, simply jump across the moving platforms and run as fast as you can to try and jump as many spikes as possible.
