India continues to embolden its 'Act East' policy to counter expansionist China. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh who is currently in Vietnam has signed two crucial deals with Hanoi. Both India and Vietnam have sealed mutual logistics support pact to allow the militaries of the two sides to use each other's bases. For now the military bases will be used for repair and replenishment of supplies.
