Hi Dawnies, welcome back to my channel. If you are new, welcome.

Even though I was blessed with furniture from the Housing Program, I needed some additional furniture.

When I was in the shelter, former residents had told me for $100 I could additional furniture from Atlanta Furniture Bank.

One of the Shelter's Case managers sets up a referral to the Furniture Bank. The Furniture Banks sets up the appointment. You can only shop by appointment and with a referral from your case manager.

This is the List of things that you can normally get from the Furniture Bank:
1. Dining room furniture
2. Couch or Chair for the living room
3. One Large living room item like a coffee table
4. Lighting
5. 2 small wooden items
6. Kitchenware
and possibly some additional or misc items it depends on the situation

I'm grateful for all these items because it would have cost me probably over $1000 for all these things, even if I had gone to a thrift
store
