In this second lesson of Qur’anic Articulation, we continue the same powerful pattern:
One articulation point.
Three letters corrected.
Sa (س), Zaal (ذ), and ZAA (ظ)
All three letters come from the same place —
the tip of the tongue touching the edge of the upper front teeth.
But here is the secret:
• Sa and Zaal are light.
• Dha is heavy.
Same mouth.
Same tongue spot.
Same teeth.
But when the back of the tongue gently lifts upward,
the sound changes beautifully.
One small adjustment…
and thousands of recitation mistakes disappear.
This is the beauty of the Qur’an —
simple, precise, powerful.
