Testosterone is formed in the testes in males. With age the testicular function reduces. With that the testosterone levels also reduce. It has been seen that after the age of 45 years, up to 40 % of patients suffer from low testosterone.
Low testosterone causes 5 sexual function side effects in men :
1. Erectile dysfunction: at the time of excitement, the body releases nitric oxide which dilates the blood vessels and muscles of the penis and makes the penis hard. When the testosterone level is low, there is reduced production and release of nitric oxide and due to this, penile blood flow does not increase at the time of intercourse and due to this patient suffers from erectile dysfunction. 2. Low libido: This means that patients with low testosterone have a lack of initiative and lack of excitement so much so that they do not even feel like having intercourse.
So many patients will come to me that their erections are fine but their desire to have intercourse is no longer present. 3. Low testosterone causes loss of sensation in the penis. It means that you do not feel any sensation or excitement in the penis and the penis feels like it is almost dead.4.Penile shrinkage: the normal penis is not getting enough blood supply and there is reduced sensation. The penis becomes very shrunken. After the testosterone levels in the body become normal, the Penile size becomes normal.5. Loss of semen quality. Low testosterone causes the Semen to become thin and watery.

How to diagnose low testosterone levels:

Total testosterone test. This test should be done empty stomach between 7 AM to 11 AM and the value of less than 300 ng/dL signifies low testosterone.

How to treat low testosterone naturally:
