Every year on November 30 the Jewish community marks the plight of Jews from Arab lands and Iran. The date of November 30 was chosen as it symbolically follows November 29, the day the United Nations adopted Resolution 181 - voting to establish a Jewish state.
The 2020 commemoration included a virtual tour of the Sydney Jewish Museum's “Jews from Islamic lands” exhibition and a presentation by Israeli social media activist Hen Mazzig.
