NAVIGATING A KUNDALINI AWAKENING with David Bingham

Описание: In this episode of ‪@TalkingTruewithJulieHoyle‬ I am speaking to David Bingham on the topic of, “Navigating a Kundalini Awakening.” David had an unexpected, radical and life-changing kundalini awakening when he was working with an energy practitioner. This awakening changed David’s perceptions of who he was and it had a profound effect on his life. Join us as we delve into the after-effects of an awakening, and we look at what some of the common obstacles can be post-awakening.

About David:
Having served without understanding, a form of Karma yoga, looking after his ill father, David Bingham encountered a massive kundalini awakening in the summer of 2017. The process within this one event, transformed his consciousness of himself and his awareness of the nature of being. However, unlike so many other other kundalini risings, it created a deep stabilisation within him. This gift with the supportive help of others, has fostered in turn the autonomous development of pranic energy rising through his body within his breath and the opening of his crown chakra combined with the parallel development of inner eye vision.

It was this form of internal vision which provided access to what David describes as the inner language of the soul. He believes that this growth has included elements of Cosmic Consciousness, combined with a growing sense that his mind-self is becoming much more deeply integrated into that of the Atman or Soul.

David has come to gradually understand that elements of his path, while unique to him, can also be recognised within the ancient descriptions of Patanjalis Yoga Sutras. He recognises elements of Samadhi within his experience and also his growing immersion in some of the varied elements of Samyama. This is the capacity to be so meditively immersed in something ( for example an object or a sound) to the extent that a quality of deep absorption occurs in which that which is seemingly separate to oneself is no longer so - as the essence of that object or sound can also be directly experienced from the inside...and at times, even manifested. Through such experiences he understands that he is stretching the boundaries of who he thinks he is, as an expansive part of the development of Yogic consciousness.
