Описание: Hi, I am Dez Blanchfield and I am at the TM Forum Digital Transformation World 2018 in Nice, France. Today I have with me Carlos Palito, the Head of Digital Transformation at Entel.

Carlos explains his roles and responsibilities in his job role at Entel and gives a brief description of the organisation. He also talks about their relationship with Ericsson and the business wide transformation they brought into practice since then.

I ask Carlos Palito from Entel to share insights on the challenges their team faces within the organisation and how Ericsson plays their part at such times. Carlos also talks about how a partner should be and states the multiple reasons for their partnership with Ericsson which has proven to be very beneficial for them.

Carlos talks about the concept they came up with which is based on three pillars -

1. Design a new and simplified product or service for the new kind of customers.
2. Focus on a lean organisation with a simple structure that helps to understand the complexity that is there.
3. To meet this transformation, it is necessary to have an IT arena that allows and supports the new processes.

The aim of these 3 pillars is to deliver a unique user experience. With the growing percentage of millennials and their demands, it is important for organisations to do something about it to meet what’s expected. The Telco industry is relatively slow but demands agility to meet the demands of the millennials. I ask Carlos Palito to share some of his thoughts on the telco industry in the coming 5-10 years and what he thinks will change in the given time frame.
