Great job on a beautiful Mozart Sonata! Your sound was so elegant and charming, perfect for this type of Mozart sonata. Your orchestral excerpts were very solid - great intonation and rhythm throughout. You had great pacing of the phrasing in each excerpt. The Mendelssohn Symphony No. 4, for example, does not give a lot of instruction with dynamic and you made it sound like a phrase - it was very easy to follow your intention. This tells me that you are a very thoughtful musician!
You have such great attention to detail in everything you play - now I would start to delve a little deeper into what kind of sound you are playing with. You have a great concept of sound, but now I would experiment with the different characters of sound you can make. The Mozart Symphony No. 39 excerpt requires a very warm and inviting sound, so I would try to play with a lighter bow and maybe narrow your vibrato a tad. You are definitely on the right track! You just have to exaggerate what you are doing. Sometimes in the Rachmaninoff Symphony No. 2 excerpt your bow got a little too close to the bridge. This caused your sound to get a little bit gritty. Keep the energy you have, though!

Bravo on your audition! You play with great confidence and have a good command of your instrument. I appreciate your thoughtful way of performing the Mozart sonata. There were moments where you were paying attention to the small details and listening to the beginnings and ends of notes. It was a polished and musical performance. The Mendelssohn had a lively character and had moments of precision and accuracy. The Mozart had a lyrical and resonant tone. The Price was played very musically and you showed a clear understanding of the style. Overall, you worked out most of the technical and musical aspects of these excerpts, and I enjoyed hearing you play. Keep up the great work!
In the Mendelssohn, I would work on having a more stable pulse for some of the eighth note passages. In the Mozart, work on having even more smooth and seamless bow changes in the first section. Even though you are splitting the bow, it is important to maintain the slur phrasing. You create a beautiful lyrical tone in the first section, I would exxperiment with craeting more sound contrast in the secon dsection. Having a more bold, stately, and energetic sound compared to the first section. In the Price and in the Rachmaninoff, I would work on having a more consistent tone quality. There is a lot of string crossings/passage work which makes it more challenging to have a consistent tone, so we have to be more aware of continually making subtle changes to the contact and bow speed depending on the string we are on, the position we are playing in, the dynamic we are in and the articulation.
