It may not frighten any crows, but this puppet scarecrow is super cute! Learn how to make it from paper and a bag!
You will need:
Brown paper bag
Colored card stock (Brown, Yellow, Pink, Orange, Blue)
Printed or drawn eyes
Glue stick
Scissors
Black marker
Instructions:
1. Cut brown paper into a hat shape. Cut small sections of yellow paper into hair shapes by making a rectangle and cutting triangles out of it. Glue together.
2. Glue the completed hat to the top of the brown paper bag.
3. Cut printed/drawn eyes. Cut pink paper into ovals for cheeks, and an orange triangle for a nose. Glue everything just below the hat to make the face.
4. Using the black marker, draw the mouth from one cheek to the other cheek, just underneath the paper bag flap
5. Cut and glue blue paper to fit the bottom of the paper bag for the shirt
6. Glue a square patch of yellow to the middle of the shirt.
7. Use the black marker to draw dashed lines along the square to give it the appearance of being stitched.
